The perfect coir mat for your front door is, of course, one that fits perfectly—a custom-made coir mat. While you can place a coir mat directly on the floor, most coir mats are recessed. In this case, it’s especially important that the dimensions are accurate. It looks best when the coir mat at your front door is flush with the floor. If the height falls short, you can compensate with a rubber underlay mat.

A coir mat loves being placed at your front door—but only indoors, not outdoors. A coir mat is absolutely not suitable for outdoor use. Exposure to rain and moisture can cause the mat to mold, which would be a shame. Indoors, however, you’ll definitely enjoy your thin coir mat, as our coir mats are only 17 millimeters thick!

The anti-slip undermat can be used when the mat is placed on a smooth surface. The mat has a standard size of 60x60cm, but can easily be cut to the desired size with scissors.
If the mat is larger than 60x60cm, multiple anti-slip undermats can be used.
Measure the depth and dimensions of the recess to determine the height to be filled. It is possible to stack multiple filler mats on top of each other to get the right height.
